The China Stationery Fair (CSF) was organized by Comexposium-CSF (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and supported by China Commerce Association for General Merchandise. Founded in 1953, CSF is the leading stationery and office supply commerce and trade platform in Asia. As an industry veteran, the fair serves both as an important networking event for domestic brands as well as an opportunity for international brands to enter the Chinese market.

In the past nearly 70 years, CSF had been dedicated to becoming a platform for information sharing and business cooperation. It strives to introduce new ideas, present new products, discover new opportunities in order to help the stationery and office-supply industry grow as a whole.

The 117th CSF will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), E1-E6, on May 30 - June 1, 2023. It is organized by Comexposium-CSF (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and supported by China Commerce Association for General Merchandise (CCAGM).

Data from National Bureau of statistics shows that approximately 2475 enterprises above certain size in China stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry have completed a total revenue of 331.172 billion Yuan in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 2.90%. Such enterprises realized a total profit of 21.808 billion Yuan in the whole stationery and sport goods manufacturing industry in China, a year-on-year decrease of 1.11%. The profit margin of the operating revenue in stationery and sport goods industry was 6.59%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.27 percentage points.

China now has been grown up to be the biggest stationery consumer in the world; however, the market share of Chinese enterprises in the world is still comparatively low comparing with the global market capacity worth of more than US 200billion dollars, nevertheless high-quality original products are still very few.

Most Chinese stationery manufacturers are private companies, resulting the whole industry is still struggling in the low-end price wars and the common phenomena of small size, obsolescent industrial structure, low technical contains and mostly are OEM companies. They are lack of high level industrial design and innovation ability that . Chinese office supplies and stationery industry urgently needs a transform from low-level producer to a high-level innovative powerful nation.
